Pivotal moment for care home consultancy with appointment of Karen Johnson
SNIPPET: Renowned care sector leader Karen Johnson has joined Fulcrum Care as their new Head of Quality Assurance, with promise of exciting developments to come.
Karen will take charge of Fulcrum’s quality assurance team and support the business’ continued growth. Her appointment signals that exciting developments are to come at the care consultancy, with a promise of a new ground-breaking extension of services to clients.
With over 25 years in the health and care sectors, Karen’s main focus has been on quality and operations for elderly care. From successfully supporting care home inspection turnarounds, to senior operational and strategic roles, Karen was previously Clinical Director and Chief Nurse at HC One, the UK’s largest care home provider.
Karen Johnson said: “I am delighted to be joining Fulcrum and to be part of the upward trajectory of the firm.
“In the future for the industry, and as part of Fulcrum’s offering, I want to see the support that larger providers can give, such as support services and teams of experts, be available to everyone, even owners with one care home.
