British Geriatric Society Webinar: How can data help to transform frontline care in care homes?

Webinar: How can data help to transform frontline care in care homes?

The British Geriatric Society is running a hybrid event looking at how data from care homes can better be used for intelligence rather than simply being for compliance. The session will take place on September 12th from 10:45am to 12:15pm.

Speakers include:

  • Prof Laura Shallcross, University College London, who will reflect from experience gained during the COVID-19 pandemic on what are home data is available and how it can be used
  • Representatives of the International Resident Assessment Instrument (InterRAI), an international collaboration of care providers and academics with standardised approaches to data.

There will be presentations on the use of care home data and on practical ways care homes can use data to advance practice. You will be able to ask questions and make comments that will be carried forward to a subsequent meeting with national policymakers.

You can register for the event here. Note that you will need to create a BGS account to do so. The event will be online but there are also limited in-person places.
