Increased funding for nursing in care homes – FNC

For the 2022-23 financial year, the FNC rate will increase by 11.5% to £209.19 (and £287.78 for those on the high band payment), backdated to 1 April 2022.

In addition, to reflect the additional work and time provided by nurses in care homes during the pandemic, for the 2021-22 financial year, CCGs will be instructed to provide retrospective payments of £21.93 (and £30.17 for those on the high band payment) per resident per week.
