Dear Provider,
LCAS is a part of the Care Provider Alliance, we’re working together across the adult social care sector to capture the true impact of the Autumn Budget 2024 and to make sure the government hears one united voice from providers ahead of the next.
Last year’s Budget left many care providers deeply concerned about managing rising costs from employers’ National Insurance Contributions and the National Living Wage.
We now know that for many providers the situation has become even more challenging and is in danger of worsening further. Providers have shown extraordinary resilience: reducing agency use, delivering efficiencies, and holding back on investment to stay afloat. But this has come at a cost.
To make the strongest case to ministers, MPs and officials ahead of the Chancellor’s next Budget, we need clear evidence of what really happened, the pressures you faced, how you adapted, and the one change that would make the biggest difference next year.
This quick 9-question survey takes less than 10 minutes – please complete it before 12 noon on Monday 13 October.
Your response will help us show the government not only the risks of underfunding but also the resilience and value our sector delivers and why we need urgent action to support us.
Thank you for adding your voice.
Best wishes,
