Adult Social Care Workforce Survey
More than ever, it’s important that decisions about adult social care are shaped by robust evidence and the real experiences of frontline workers who support people every day.
We’re asking you to encourage the staff in your service to complete the Adult Social Care Workforce Survey. This is the sector’s chance to have an impact on the decisions that impact our everyday working lives.
Please share the survey with colleagues and, if possible, make time for them to complete it to ensure their voices can be heard. All responses are confidential and findings will not be analysed at employer or organisation level.
Share the survey today
Every response counts: if people in frontline roles do not take part, their experiences may not be reflected in the evidence used to inform future decisions about the sector.
The survey takes no more than 20 minutes to complete and covers topics including:
- wellbeing
- workload
- pay and conditions
- learning and development
- feeling valued at work.

Care Provider Alliance welcomes employer nominations for the Adult Social Care Negotiating Body
The Care Provider Alliance (CPA)* has been invited by The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, the Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP, to nominate employer representatives to the Adult Social Care Negotiating Body. It will negotiate the first Fair Pay Agreement for adult social care, planned for 2028.
Applications are now open. Chief executives, senior leaders, and others with relevant experience are encouraged to apply here by 23:59 on 8th November 2026. Eleven employer representatives will be selected from the CPA’s Employer Reference Group.
Who should apply?
Leaders who understand adult social care operations and industrial relations, especially employment negotiations.
Applicants should be able to assess evidence, use sound judgement and work constructively with different groups.
Experience of representing employers beyond one organisation or service will be helpful.
