DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE – visiting in health and care settings
As you will be aware, we currently have a public consultation open on visiting in health and care settings, which will be open until 16th August (and 23 August for the easy read). The links to these are below:

We are really keen to ensure that we hear the views of care home residents as part of this consultation – having looked at the figures the number of individuals who are care home residents is currently quite low. We’d be really grateful if there is anything you can do to promote this consultation to care home residents, or to encourage care workers or the family and friends of residents to support them to respond to the consultation.
I have also attached a list of suggested prompts which can be used in conversation with those who may find it challenging to access either the full or easy read consultations. Any responses to these can be sent to visting@dhsc.gov.uk.
